The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan 

conducted an online seminar for members of the territorial election 

commissions

On July 17, 2026, in accordance with the Training Plan for Members of Election Commissions and Other Participants in the Electoral Process, approved by Resolution No. 26/52 of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 1, 2026, an online seminar on the preparation and conduct of the elections of deputies of the Kurultai of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. The seminar was attended by members of the territorial election commissions of the capital, the regions, and the cities of republican significance, as well as members of city and district territorial election commissions serving on a full-time professional basis.

During the seminar, members of the Central Election Commission presented the organizational aspects of preparing and conducting the elections of deputies of the Kurultai, as well as issues related to election information support, election campaigning, campaign financing, recent amendments to the election legislation, and other legal matters. Participants received explanations and practical guidance on the most relevant issues concerning the application of the election legislation.

The seminar was conducted as part of the first stage of the cascading electoral training system. During the second and third stages, members of the territorial election commissions serving on a full-time professional basis will organize training for the remaining members of territorial and precinct election commissions, as well as other participants in the electoral process.

In addition, to assess the level of knowledge of election commission members, the Central Election Commission will conduct phased remote testing.
