On 4 March 2015 seminar-training on organization of the preparation and conduct of early election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Shymkent city
On 4 March 2015 the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan held seminar-training for members of territorial election commissions of South-Kazakhstan oblast on organization of the preparation and conduct of early election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, called on 26 April 2015.
At the training the Secretary of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. B. Meldeshov was a major speaker.
During the seminar-training the questions concerning logistical support to election campaign as well as efficient interaction of election commissions, local executive bodies, non-governmental organizations, civil society institutions and mass media have been discussed.
The participants of the seminar-training stressed the need to ensure strict implementation of norms of electoral legislation by all stakeholders of election process as one of the most important directions of joint work at this stage of election campaign.
Among the mostly discussed and actual topics covered during seminar-training it can be highlighted the issues of financial, legal and documentation support of election, organization of work for compilation, refinement and correction of voter lists, improvement of efficiency of interaction between stakeholders of election process as well as between domestic / international election observers and election commissions, state bodies and NGOs, information support to election, the campaigning, and activities of election commissions on organization and conduct of the vote.
Constructive exchange of views in the general discussion allowed participants to develop a number of proposals and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the work on various directions, carried out within the framework of the electoral process.
Representatives of territorial election commissions shared their experience, exchanged views on the issues discussed at the seminar-training.
The members of territorial election commissions will conduct similar seminars in the local places with precinct election commissions.
