According to preliminary data received from election commission of oblasts, cities of Astana and Almaty, votes cast by voters at election of deputies to Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan to be elected based on party lists, which have been conducted on 15 January 2012, were as follows:
• in favor of the People’s Democratic Party “Nur Otan” - 80.74 % of votes;
• in favor of Party of Patriots of Kazakhstan – 0.89 %;
• in favor of Democratic Party of Kazakhstan “AK ZHOL” – 7.46 %;
• in favor of All-National Social Democratic Party – 1.59%;
• in favor of Communist Peoples’ Party of Kazakhstan – 7.2%;
• in favor of Kazakhstani Social-Democratic Party “Aul” – 1.46%;
• in favor of Democratic Party “Adilet” – 0.66 %.
“At this moment these are only preliminary results because protocols of territorial election commissions will arrive only today. Election legislation provides for two days for their delivery.
As far as the protocols will be received we will define more exactly the data both on voter turnout and on election results”, - Head of CEC K. Turgankulov noted at briefing.
The final results of election of deputies to the Mazhilis of Parliament to be elected based on party lists must be defined by the Central Election Commission on the basis of protocols of territorial election commissions not later than by 22 January 2012.
