On 10 December 2011, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan registered the party list of the Kazakhstani Social Democratic Party “Auyl”, which includes 18 candidates for deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The registered candidates of the KSDP “Auyl” represent four different ethnic groups.
Around 22% of the candidates are women.
More than 20% of the candidates, included in the party list, are persons under the age of 55 years. The youngest of them is 41 years old.
All of the candidates have got a higher education. Around one third of them are lawyers or economists by education. 40% are specialists in various branches of national economy.
One third of the KSDP “Auyl” candidates work in commercial entities, another third is science, culture and education workers.
As of 10 December 2011, there are 5259 candidates for deputies of maslikhats nominated.
Of these, 566 candidates to oblast maslikhats and of Astana and Almaty; 3774 candidates to district maslikhats; 919 candidates to city maslikhats.
298 candidates were registered as candidates for deputies of maslikhats.
