According to preliminary data provided by the oblast, the cities of Astana and Almaty election commissions by 22 o’clock on August, 18 2007 from 8870146 voters included in the voter lists, 5726544 people received bulletins, or 64.56%. Among them:

in Aktyubinsk oblast - 299219 ( 74.59%);
in Almaty oblast – 769898 (90.12%);
in Atyrau oblast – 202876 (76.83%);
in Eastern Kazakhstan – 534067 (60.3%);
in Zhambyl oblast – 352259 (72.05%);
in Western Kazakhstan oblast – 230204 (60.32%);
in Karaganda oblast – 523323 (66.82%);
in Kyzylorda oblast – 281441 (73.66%);
in Kostanai oblast – 419798 (73.17%);
in Mangistau oblast - 127101 (53.22%);
in Pavlodar oblast – 247204 (53.39%);
in Northern Kazakhstan oblast – 311036 (75.03%);
in Southern Kazakhstan oblast – 807586 (72.3%);
in Astana – 99067 (39.13%);
in Almaty – 197983 (22.51%) people.
In all, the vote was held at 9727 polling stations. At 1512 (or 15.5%) of them voters were given the opportunity to vote by electronic electoral system.
