Working Visit of Deputy Chairperson of the Central Election Commission K. Petrov to Pavlodar Oblast

On May 27, 2019, a workshop was held in the city of Pavlodar for members of election commissions of Pavlodar Oblast, representatives of campaign offices of the candidates and other participants of the electoral process.

All cities and districts of the oblast took part in the video conferencing meeting.

Deputy Chairperson of the Central Election Commission K. Petrov focused attention of the workshop participants on changes in the election legislation, the main stages of the ongoing election campaign, openness and publicity in the activities of all election commissions, and strict adherence to the requirements of the current legislation.

Head of Akim’s Office of the oblast A. Amirin reported on the measures taken for the material and technical equipment of polling stations, the provision of conditions for voting to persons with disabilities, as well as on the work done on the compilation and transmission of voter lists to the polling stations.

Chairperson of the Oblast Election Commission G. Amanzholova informed about the work carried out by election commissions in accordance with the powers stipulated by the law, about training of members of precinct election commissions and the preparation of polling stations for the day of voting.

Certified trainers held a training case study “Voting Day” for the workshop participants.

As a result of the workshop, an active exchange of views took place and the organization of work of election commissions was discussed.
