Meeting of Deputy Chairperson of the Central Election Commission Konstantin Petrov with delegation of independent observers from Brazil

On June 7, a meeting of Deputy Chairperson of the Central Election Commission Konstantin Petrov with the delegation of independent observers from Brazil, led by Francisco de Asis Rodriguez, the Head of the Kazakhstan-Brazil Friendship Group, took place in Nur-Sultan.

At the meeting, the Deputy Chairperson briefed on the current campaign for the early election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, scheduled for June 9, 2019.

The delegation from Brazil for the first time participates in elections in Kazakhstan as observers. The Brazilian side had a number of questions regarding the acceptance of the powers by the elected president, the procedures for preparing and holding the election, as well as about financing and participants of the election campaign.

At the end of the meeting, both sides wished each other successful elections.
