Address by the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to voters Dear voters!
The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan invites all voters of the country to the early election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on June 9, 2019.
In order to exercise your voting right, you need to take part in the voting.
Voting at polling stations is held from 07 am to 8 pm.
On the election day, 9968 polling stations will operate throughout the country and abroad.
Election authorities at all levels must strictly observe all electoral procedures on the election day. Each of you will be provided with the secrecy of ballot.
The procedure for vote counting is as transparent as possible, and the preliminary results of the voting will be made public as soon as possible.
In order to receive ballots, it is necessary to show a document proving your identity to members of the precinct election commission.
If there is an AVC, it must also be presented to the members of the precinct election commission.
Transfer of the right to vote, as well as voting for other persons, shall be prohibited in the election.
Remember that ballots are filled by you personally only in the secret voting booth. When filling out paper ballots, put any mark in the empty box to the right of the name of the candidate for whom you are voting.
Do not put any marks in the ballot by pencil or make any corrections to it. Such ballots, as well as ballots in which it is impossible to determine the will of the voters, are considered invalid, and, therefore, your vote will not be counted.
At the same time, the publication and distribution of ballot papers is not allowed, as this may entail prosecution established by the legislation.
If on the election day you are unable to come to the polling station for health reasons or because of care for a sick family member, or if you are in a remote and hard to reach place where a polling station is not established, you can apply to the precinct election commission to request voting “at home”.
The applications are accepted until 12 pm on June 9, 2019.
The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan encourages you to demonstrate active civic engagement and responsibility for the present and the future of the country, come to the polls and make your choice!
We are for open, fair and equitable election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan! Come to the polls! Vote! Your choice is your future!
