В ЦИК РК утвердили список наблюдателей, направляемых на парламентские выборы Республики Таджикистан

On February 25, 2020, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved a list of international observers to be sent to the elections of deputies to the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Republic of Tajikistan on March 1, 2020.

In total, the list included 22 observers from the Republic of Kazakhstan: two observers at the invitation of the CEC of the Republic of Tajikistan, 19 observers as members of the CIS Observation Mission, with one observer as part of the SCO Observation Mission. Of the total number of candidates from the regions of Kazakhstan, 12 observers were nominated.

To recap, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon called parliamentary elections in the country by signing a decree. These are the sixth parliamentary elections in the history of independent Tajikistan, which will see 63 deputies elected.
