Training seminar "Organizational, legal and methodological aspects of the electoral process during elections of deputies of Maslikhats"

On September 11, 2020, there was held a training seminar on the topic of "Organizational, legal and methodological aspects of the electoral process during elections of deputies of Maslikhats of the Republic of Kazakhstan". The seminar took place in the videoconferencing format and the participants were the members of territorial election commissions of regions and cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent, who exercise powers on a permanent professional basis.

When opening the seminar, the Secretary of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mrs. Mustafina S.S. presented an analysis of the organizational and methodological aspects of the activities of election commissions.

The trainer of the electoral education, Mrs. Pytyeva V.P. went into detail on the legal foundations of the electoral process and the specifics of organizing the work of election commissions.

During the training event there was presented and discussed an educational and methodological complex of materials designed to prepare members of election commissions for the election of deputies of Maslikhats of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to the proportional system.

Head of the Unit for Organization of Electoral Training and Analytics, Mrs. Boleyeva M.K. focused the attention of the seminar participants on various forms of organizing electoral education, updated methods of implementing educational activities based on modelling real situations aimed at developing students' practical skills and abilities. In the electoral training there will be used the potential of distance learning forms in online mode, as well as the system of distance learning and testing of the Internet resource of the CEC.
