Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan met with OSCE/ODIHR Needs Assessment Mission
On October 27, 2020, members of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan met with representatives of the OSCE/ODIHR Needs Assessment Mission.
During the meeting, members of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with election advisers of the OSCE/ODIHR Alexey Gromov, Kakha Inaishvili and representative of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Anastasia Gryadasova, discussed issues related to the preparation and conduct of the next elections of deputies to the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on January 10, 2021.
The OSCE/ODIHR Needs Assessment Mission is dispatched to the country to assess the pre-election situation and prepare for the elections to make recommendations on the feasibility of OSCE events, as well as to determine the most appropriate format for ODIHR observation.
