For the attention of republican and regional media!

This is to inform that in accordance with the requirements of clause 3 of Article 28 of the Constitutional Act "On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan" information on the amount of payment, conditions and procedure for the provision of broadcast and print area shall be announced and published by the relevant mass media no later than five days before the start of the election campaign (no later than December 4, 2020).

The media shall not provide broadcasting time or print area for placement or distribution of candidates' campaign materials before publishing information on the amount of payment, conditions and procedure for providing broadcast and print area. Violation of this legislation provision under article 112 of the Code of Administrative Violations shall entail a fine for officials in the amount of 30 MCI, for legal entities - in the amount of 50 MCI.

In terms of elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament, information on the amount of payment, conditions and procedure for providing broadcast and print area shall be submitted to the Central Election Commission, for elections of deputies of maslikhats - to the territorial election commissions.
