A. Schegortsova, member of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the OSCE/ODIHR online seminar on election observation and alternative voting methods
On 24 November 2020, member of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan Anastassiya Schegortsova took part in the OSCE/ODIHR online seminar "Election Observation and Alternative Voting Methods".
The ODIHR online seminar was attended by representatives of election authorities, international organizations, OSCE election experts, as well as NGOs from OSCE participating States.
The seminar was devoted to an overview of commitments and standards for democratic elections, as well as consideration of the issue of alternative methods and mechanisms of voting.
At the end of the seminar, the results of its work were summed up, where the participants of the event noted the importance of further strengthening the role of OSCE commitments, other international obligations and standards in the field of democratic elections, as well as facilitating a broad dialogue between OSCE participating States on organization of the electoral
