CEC RK held online workshop

On December 14 this year an online training workshop was held for members of territorial election commissions of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital within the framework of the Plan for organizing training for members of election commissions and other participants in the electoral process during the campaign for election of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament and maslikhats of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by resolution No. 34/341 of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 29 this year.

During the training workshop, the issues of organizing work with voter lists, conducting pre-election campaigning, as well as financial aspects of activities of parties that have nominated party lists were considered.

The following speakers spoke at the workshop: K. Petrov Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, S.Mustafina Secretary of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan and A.Schegortsova member of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Also, during the online workshop, members of the Working Group on Elaboration of Training Materials for Election Commissions discussed methodological aspects of training members of election commissions to organize and conduct voting day.

Training for members of precinct election commissions on a similar topic will be conducted using a cascade method.
