CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a meeting with the CIS Observer Mission

On December 21, 2020, a meeting of Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Imashev with First Deputy of the Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary Victor Guminsky was held.

The CEC Chairman briefed the Observer Mission members about the main stages of the campaign, from the announcement of elections until the election day.

In turn, Victor Guminsky thanked Berik Imashev for organizing the meeting and informed the methods and principles of observation of the CIS Observer Mission.

“After our meeting, from this day on, the Observer Mission begins its work to observe the regular parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan,” Guminsky informed.

It should be noted that observers of the CIS Mission have extensive experience in observing elections in Kazakhstan, including elections of deputies to the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Observers from the Commonwealth will conduct observation in Kazakhstan for the fourteenth time.
