Meeting of the Central Election Commission took place with the delegation of Turkic-Council States

On January 8, 2021 a meeting of members of the Central Election Commission with representatives of the delegation of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States (Turkic Council) was held at the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

After welcoming speech, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Konstantin Petrov briefly informed observers on preparations for regular elections of deputies to the Mazhilis and Maslikhats of the Republic of Kazakhstan, scheduled for January 10, 2021.

During the meeting members of Central Election Commission answered questions from members of delegation regarding campaigning activities of political parties in Kazakhstan, work of election commissions, participation of international observers and representatives of foreign media in observing the elections.

Representatives of the Turkic Council thanked members of the Central Election Commission for meeting and wished them success in elections.
