Representative of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan was trained at the Indian International Institute for Democracy and Election Management

From 22 to 26 February this year a representative from the Electoral Education and Analysis Department participated in an online course on “Capacity Building in Electoral Technology” organized by Indian International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Management (IIIDEM).

The course was attended by representatives of electoral authorities of 16 countries and was devoted to guidelines, international experience and practical aspects of the use of modern technologies at all stages of the electoral process, including organization of electronic voting and summing up the election results.

Country-specific interactive presentations on the experience of using electoral technologies were organized during the training. As a result, discussions were held on the prospects and problematic issues of introducing digital technologies into the electoral process.
