Online Study at Indian International Institute for Democracy and Election Management
From 15 to 19 March 2021, an employee of the International Cooperation Department of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in an online training on the issue "Voter registration" organized by Indian International Institute for Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM).
Online training was held with participation of representatives of electoral bodies from 20 foreign countries and was devoted to organization of voter lists. IIIDEM Institute trainers delivered lectures on theory, practical aspects and international experience in voter registration.
Issues on use of various information systems for voter registration, inclusion in the voter lists of citizens who are abroad, in places of temporary detention, hospitals, as well as the exclusion of deceased persons and persons who have changed citizenship from the voter list were raised during online training.
