Chairman of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Mazhitovich Imashev took part in the international conference 

On May 13-14, 2021, in St. Petersburg an international scientific and practical conference on "Technologies of the electoral process and election monitoring" was held, in which Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Imashev took part.

The event is dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the establishment of International Institute for Monitoring of Democracy Development, Parliamentarism and Observance of Electoral Rights of Citizens of the CIS IPA Member States.

On May 13, 2021, within the framework of an international conference, an off-site meeting of senators of the Russian Federation was held, during which issues regarding the institution of international election observation as well as measures to counter foreign interference in electoral processes were considered.

On the same day, a plenary session of the international conference was held. The conference addressed the principles and standards of international election observation, introduction of new information technologies, role of social networks and messengers in election campaigns.

On May 14, 2021, the conference was continued in Sestroretsk city with an off-site international seminar "Dialogue of Citizens and Authorities", as well as a round table on the topic "Electronic voting: prospects and challenges".

The event was attended by parliamentarians of the IPA CIS member states, representatives of international organizations, heads and representatives of the electoral authorities of the CIS countries, scientists and experts, and representatives of public organizations.
