Deputy Chairman of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an online guest lecture for civil servants

On June 10 this year Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission K. Petrov conducted an online lecture on the topic "Development of the electoral system of the Republic of Kazakhstan" for civil servants of central and local executive bodies at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In his speech, Konstantin Petrov noted that formation and development of the constitutional foundations of electoral law have become significant milestones in the development of the electoral system of Kazakhstan.  Provisions of the lecture on additions and amendments made to the electoral legislation related to holding direct elections of akims of cities of regional significance, villages, townships and rural districts this year were of particular interest among civil servants.
