Online training for members of territorial election commissions was conducted on electoral rights and needs of people with disabilities

From November 1 to 4, 2021, Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the public Association of Women with Disabilities - "Shyrak” conducted an online training for coaches from among the members of territorial election commissions of regions and cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent.

The training event “Assisting Government and Civil Society to Promote Human Rights, Strengthen the Rule of Law and Improve Legal Framework in 2021” which was held within the framework of project partnership together with the OSCE was dedicated to ensuring electoral rights of people with disabilities.

The main questions included in the training program were devoted to specifics of organizing the electoral cycle, taking into account solutions for persons with disabilities.

Interactive methods and practical forms of solving situational problems were used during the training event.

As a result of the event, a productive exchange of views took place, as well as the presentation of certificates to its participants.
