The CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a meeting with
the OSCE/ODIHR Referendum Assessment Mission
On June 8, 2022 the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Abdirov met with the Head of OSCE/ODIHR Referendum Assessment Mission Tamas Meszerics.
The meeting was attended by CEC Deputy Chairman Konstantin Petrov, CEC Secretary Mukhtar Yerman, as well as Deputy Head of the Mission Dominic Howell, political analyst of the Mission Rashad Shirinov, election analyst of the Mission Adina Borkan.
Nurlan Abdirov, Head of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, expressed gratitude to the OSCE/ ODIHR Referendum Assessment Mission for its work in observing the referendum.
In his turn, the Head of the OSCE/ODIHR Referendum Assessment Mission, Tamas Meszerics, congratulated the leadership of the Central Election Commission with the completion of the work on preparing and holding the Republican Referendum on June 5, 2022, and thanked the organizers of the referendum for the efficient interaction with the Mission on all levels of the Referendum Commissions.
At the end of the meeting the parties confirmed their readiness to continue close cooperation of the CEC with the OSCE/ODIHR in the mode of constant consultations and during the inter-election period.
