A meeting of the Central Election Commission was held on the results of 

the nomination of candidates for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On October 12, 2022, a meeting of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held under the chairmanship of Nurlan Abdirov on the results of the nomination of candidates for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Secretary of the Central Election Commission Mukhtar Yerman made a report on the agenda item. The stage of nomination of candidates for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan ended at 18.00 on October 11, 2022. Based on the results of the nomination stage, documents of 12 candidates nominated by republican public associations were submitted to the Central Election Commission.

1. Meiram Kazhyken

Nominated by the “Amanat” Commonwealth of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan” Republican Association of Trade Unions. The documents were submitted to the CEC on October 4, 2022. According to the conclusion of the linguistic commission dated October 8, 2022, he is fluent in the state language. On October 8, 2022, the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan established compliance with the requirements of the Constitution and the Constitutional Act “On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

2. Zhiguli Dairabayev

Nominated by the “Auyl” People’s Democratic Patriotic Party” Public Association. The documents were submitted to the CEC on October 5, 2022. According to the conclusion of the linguistic commission dated October 8, 2022, he is fluent in the state language. 3. Nurlan Auesbayev

Nominated by the “National Social Democratic Party” Public Association. The documents were submitted to the CEC on October 7, 2022.
