The CRC Chairman met with the Head of the Headquarters

of the CIS Observer Mission

On 16 September 2024, the Chairman of the Central Referendum Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Abdirov met with the Head of the Headquarters of the CIS Observer Mission Oleg Kuleba.

Oleg Kuleba informed about opening and beginning of the Headquarters of the CIS Observer Mission in Kazakhstan to observe the Republican referendum. He informed that it is planned to attract about 50 observers from the CIS countries, which will carry out international observation at the referendum polling stations in the regions of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, Nurlan Abdirov and Oleg Kuleba also exchanged views on the organization of international observation of the Republican referendum scheduled for 6 October 2024.

The CRC Head emphasized that close cooperation has been established between the CIS Observer Mission and the Central Referendum Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Nurlan Abdirov also assured that all necessary conditions will be created for international observers.
