Dear participants in the electoral process!
On behalf of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I extend my sincere congratulations on the occasion of Global Elections Day!
In many countries around the world, this day is marked on the first Thursday of February and symbolizes states’ commitment to strengthening democratic values and promoting electoral culture. It also provides an opportunity to emphasize the importance of citizens’ participation in governing of their country.
In Kazakhstan, the celebration takes place on the eve of the 35th anniversary of Independence. Over the years of sovereign development, our country has established its national electoral system and continues to improve it consistently. Today, electoral processes are based on the principles of legality, transparency, and fairness, and are aimed at ensuring equal rights and opportunities for every citizen.
In 2025, a total of 1,028 elections at various levels were held nationwide. Behind this figure lies the extensive and responsible work of election administrators, as well as the active civic engagement of citizens. Through joint efforts, electoral rights are safeguarded, and public trust in the institution of elections is strengthened.
I am confident that, going forward, the responsibility, professionalism, and mutual respect of all participants in the electoral process will continue to contribute to the free expression of citizens’ will and to the further development of Kazakhstan’s democratic institutions.
Sincerely,
Chairman
of the Central Election Commission
of the Republic of Kazakhstan
